So its fall break right now... and I must say, its really boring. So far all I have done:
Read
Sit and play on the computer
Painted my toenails with Amanda
Sat at the computer more
Looked random things up
Play with my blog and add those little fishies that are off to the side
and last of all: cooked food that was actually good.
I'm glad that I don't have school right now, but I am bored out of my mind!

Do Not Despair
Technology is really a great thing these days! There is a Gospel Library app and it has so many things! It has church magazines that go all the way back to 1971, general conference talks that go back to 1974, things like that.
Last night I was reading one of those talks. It was called Do Not Despair: by Ezra Taft Benson. I don't know why I chose that one... but as I was reading it I looked at the title, and I didn't remember choosing it. But I definitely needed to read this one.
He talks about ways to get over trials, and how to become a more positive, happy person. He mentioned a lot of things that help. Here are some of them.

Random facts about me
I have been thinking about things that are true about me, so that is what I will blog about.
1. I am blogging right now.
2. I dislike change
3. I like to make jewlery
4. I have the memory span of a fish when it comes to looking for things I lost
5. I tend to jinx myself
6. I have a weird friend named Mckell
7. I have the most awesome neighbors! (Amanda and Sherry)
8. I enjoy writing (hence the blog)
9. (read 8 without the () and continue here) so much that I am writing a book for fun.
10. I do random things for fun. (60 lunges... Even though I know it's stupid)

17. I have insomnia (which would explain me writing this at 11 pm)
18. I like to freak random people out. This one is good. A friend was talking on the phone so I asked if I could talk to them. She handed me the phone, and I started talking to him about random things.

Fun in ASL
Yesterday we were drawing what our dream room is. Now, I have never given this much thought. so here is what my first one looked like:
Isn't it great? The orange stuff around the door is fire.
More things I did:
Stole my teachers food and drink and hid it
Hid his drink again after he found it (he put it in the same place... so I had the opportunity twice)
Got threatened by him (He said he would beat me up if I didn't give it to him)
Got called an evil child
drank some of his drink and realized it was nasty, so I had more.
Yes, these are the kind of things I do at school when I am in a good mood.

My Day
Here is what you need to know:My sister was going to go to Las Vegas today.
I decided to go with her.
Her car is/was having troubles.
Now for the story.
Last night I was not sure if I should go or not, but eventually ended up deciding to go. I went to school for the first three classes, and then left my third period 15 minutes early.
So were on our way, driving and driving, and we get 30 miles from someplace.... we were 130 miles from Provo and we start to hear something shake and fly out from under the car. but nothing else sounded wrong... for a few minutes.
Then an awful grinding noise started so we pulled over, and tried to see if it was something we could fix, but didn't see anything wrong. We made a lot of calls trying to figure out what to do, and then decided to wait for our dad to come get us.
We pulled over at 1:50 and he didn't come till after 6. We were there for a long time. We did things like...
Play with a Rubik's cube
Do our nails
Take a nap
Read
Talk
You get the point. Then when he came we were so happy! We started on our way, and decided to get some food. The food me and my sister had was frosted animal cookies, and licorice. and little water. And what I had eaten before that was a corn dog, and a donut.
We first stopped at Burger King but there was a bug infestation. If you have been to Utah Lake when there is a bunch of mosquitoes, It was kind of like that. So we decided to not eat there, and find someplace else. And ended up eating at Carl's Jr.
So that was my day. I spent most of it in a car. But I still had fun!
I decided to go with her.

The "I should" thoughts
So lately I have been having these a lot. And I always regret when I don't listen to them. So recently I have been working on something.
And that is listening to these. And so far I am grateful. Some examples:
You know that gut feeling where you just know that something is going to happen? I had that happen today. I had a feeling I was going to get hit by a car and that I SHOULD be careful. I had a few close calls. 3. And had I not been paying attention to that, one of them would have been a hit.
Anyways. That's what I am up to lately. :)
