Personally I think that pick up lines are dumb, but on saturday I made up one and it was pretty good.
We were talking to my friend Kevin about how smart she is and how she could be a book of all of the knowledge in the world. Recently I had been talking about how I needed a book.
"laurena (also Kevin) will you be my book?"
And then... (thankfully I have a filter) I thought about saying "can I check you out?" but didn't. I couldn't stop laughing and so I had to tell my little group of friends what I had thought of. Really it's pretty stupid, but it was super funny in the moment.
